Audio Dialogue Practice Book Vol.1, 2nd edition

In Volume 1, the Audio Dialogue Practice Book introduces the Italian language with essential
material for rote beginners, starting with the basics of conversation — easy meeting and greeting
phrases. There is much repetition in the first two chapters of the names of countries and nationalities,
which use Italian words that are similar to English and are easily understood by English speakers. In this
way, the Italian student uses easy-to-learn Italian words to focus on understanding Italian masculine
and feminine agreement and then ease into the more difficult concept of Italian verb conjugation. As
the book progresses, additional vocabulary is gradually introduced, similar to how children learn their
native language.
