Scotty is a confident and independent 7-year-old. When he was 2-1/2, he was in an accident that resulted in the loss of his right arm. He has figured out how to do many everyday things, it's just his own way. Scotty's confidence and determination was the inspiration for the book.
He has never let this get in the way of anything he has wanted to do. He proves it everyday by all
the things he has figured out. Scotty say's it's not always easy but he just keeps trying.
